user experience UI design concept development wireframing prototyping
This ongoing project is a desktop web application. It's a powerful disease management tool for perinatal Hepatitis B case investigators in states' public health departments.
Goals: Dynamic and versatile
The product is being planned and designed to be the first phase of the STChealth's new generation disease management system. The goal is to design a dynamic system to support custom forms building, data intense tables with advanced search and filtering, custom reporting, report scheduling and many more future functionalities.

UX/UI Design
Design Process
Started with a research to understand the requirements and users. Worked tightly with the SME/Product manager and the engineering team to translate user insights to solutions. Designed low fidelity screen flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes.
Challenge
On the Case Details page, user has the ability to enter multiple values for the same type of data such as addresses, healthcare providers or lab results. Users need to display different levels of detail depends on the use case. During the Perinatal Hepatitis B case investigation, they need to see all details laid out on the screen at once. However, for other times, they need to be able to glimpse only the relevant, high level information.
Solution
Progressive disclosure was implemented in the Case Details pages. Default page view is designed to show only high priority information. User can drill down to the information If they want. Expandable rows are used to show details. Editing and entering data is managed within modals.
