An AI-powered retail assistant built with Microsoft Copilot Studio—one of the first prebuilt, customizable solutions designed to streamline store operations, empower frontline workers with real-time insights, and set the foundation for future AI-driven innovation.
Retailers face growing pressure to balance operational efficiency with elevated customer expectations. Microsoft introduced the Store Operations Agent—an AI-powered assistant built with Microsoft Copilot Studio—to help frontline workers simplify daily tasks, manage operations in real time, and communicate more effectively.

Pioneering the template approach, the Store Operations Agent was among the first solutions built with Microsoft Copilot Studio to be installed, customized, and deployed on a retailer’s preferred platform. It went on to shape the design of subsequent templates across industries.
My Role
As the lead designer, I guided the product vision and design strategy from concept to release. My contributions included:
  • Designing entry points, main user flows, and adaptive cards for the chat interface using Microsoft’s UI pattern libraries.
  • Testing the experience end-to-end, identifying usability issues, and refining the design to create a smooth, trust-building interaction.
  • Anticipating future customization scenarios while navigating platform dependencies, technical limitations, and enterprise compliance requirements.
